The most versatile singer India has ever produced, sang each song with such distinction, that left the listeners spellbound.

The effortless transition across the entire range without any strand of strain, flawless emoting made him the king of playback singing, No doubt his humility, unassuming attitude, soft spoken nature, and reverence for mankind produced such a voice which came direct from heart... It's true that music is about emotion and not only technicalities, and he was master of both.

Rafisaab was highly influenced by the singers of that time like K. L Saigal, Talat Mehmood and, most notably, by G. M. Durrani - on whose style he based his singing. He sung with his idol in some of the songs such as "Humko Hanste Dekh Zamana Jalta Hai (Hum Sab Chor Hain, 1956) and "Khabar Kisi ko Nahiin, woh kidhar Dekhte (Beqasoor, 1950), His song ' O Duniya Ke Rakhwala' when he sang he literally he had blood in throat and that is called singing.

Rafisahab has sung all types of soft, loud, happy, sad. He boosted the carrier of Rajendrakumar, Dilipkumar, Shammikapoor, Dharmendra, Jitendra and many more. He was very polite and soft speaking man but when he sing songs like Dil Ke zarokhe (Brahmachari) you can not immagine that this song is sang by Rafisahab.

The actors like Shammikapoor choice was always Rafisahab and he has sung for almost all the music directors and maximum he has sang with Laxmikant Pyarelal . Most of the people aren't aware that Rafisahab even sang for Kishore Kumar, He was a person in total and he was singing playback for actors and most amazing that you would always feel like the actors are singing.

There was only One Rafisahab and after that film industry has never produced a versatile singer or even at par to his singing, he used to sing bhajan, ghazal, thumri, and you name it, think it and he has done.

Rafisahab apko humara tahe dil se salaam.
